Teenage Berenika is a pretty girl, but devoid of natural charm and freedom in dealing with the opposite sex. He is staying with his bright and self-confident cousin, Meg. She wants to meet the demands of her socially attractive environment at all costs. By following Meg's directions, she learns amazingly quickly to win favor with men. The most handsome of them, Warren, who adored Meg so far, is also charmed by her. A jealous girl tries to discredit her rival - she provokes her, offering to bet that Berenika will not dare to cut her hair ... The psychological and moral story evokes the realities of the 1920s - beautiful clothes, old cars and a romantic atmosphere.
